Lu Song Yuan Hotel Beijing is located in the "Courtyard Preservation Area" inside the Hutongs in Beijing. It is surrounded by historical buildings built since Kublai Khan's Yuan dynasty. The roads separating the buildings are called "Hutongs" (Mongolian for water wells). Most of the buildings built in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties are still preserved until today.

The Hotel arranges a series of hutong journeys, including visiting Huo Hai Yingding Bridge by pedicabs, visiting ancient hutongs and quadrangle of local people, climbing the 700 years ancient drum tower, visiting the Gong Wang Mansion House Garden where the nobles lived, visiting primary schools or kindergartens in hutongs, etc. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals for you to ride around and explore the old neighbouring hutongs.
